A bright, tart, and fizzy vodka punch with fresh strawberries and lemon, perfect for summer gatherings and easy to prepare in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Juice of 34 fresh lemons (about 3/4 to 1 cup)
  • 1 1/2 cups vodka (360 ml)
  • 1/2 cup simple syrup (120 ml)
  • 3 cups sparkling water (720 ml)
  • Ice cubes, as needed
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional, a handful) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the halved strawberries in the bottom of a large pitcher and gently muddle them with the back of a spoon or muddler for 1-2 minutes to release juices without pureeing.
  2. Juice 3 to 4 lemons using a citrus juicer, aiming for 3/4 to 1 cup of juice. Strain out any seeds.
  3. Add 1/2 cup simple syrup and 1 1/2 cups vodka to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine and dissolve the syrup.
  4. Slowly pour in 3 cups of chilled sparkling water and stir lightly to maintain the fizz.
  5. Fill the pitcher with plenty of ice cubes and toss in a handful of fresh mint leaves for aroma and color.
  6. Serve immediately by pouring into glasses over extra ice, garnished with a strawberry slice or lemon wheel on the rim.

Notes

Do not over-muddle strawberries to avoid a cloudy punch. Keep sparkling water separate until just before serving to preserve fizz. Adjust simple syrup to taste depending on lemon tartness. For a lower alcohol version, reduce or omit vodka. Fresh ingredients yield the best flavor.
