Refreshing Peach Lemonade Recipe for Perfect Summer Days

A delightful summer drink that combines tangy citrus notes with the sweet, juicy flavor of ripe peaches. Perfect for backyard gatherings and hot days.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 45 ripe peaches, peeled and pitted
  • 4 medium-sized lemons, juiced
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
  • 4 cups water, divided
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and pit the peaches. If the skin is stubborn, blanch them in boiling water for 30 seconds, then transfer to an ice bath to loosen the skin.
  2. Add the peeled and pitted peaches to a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer for a smoother consistency.
  3. Cut the lemons in half and use a juicer to extract the juice. Strain out the seeds if squeezing by hand.
  4. In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of water and the granulated sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely, then remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  5. In a large pitcher, combine the peach puree, lemon juice, sugar syrup, and the remaining 3 cups of cold water. Stir well to mix all the flavors together.
  6. Taste your lemonade and adjust sweetness or tartness as needed. Substitute cold water with sparkling water for a fizzy version if desired.
  7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the peach lemonade over the ice, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

[‘Choose ripe peaches for maximum sweetness and flavor.’, ‘Blanch peaches for easy peeling if needed.’, ‘Start with less sugar and adjust to taste.’, ‘Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving for maximum refreshment.’, ‘Experiment with garnishes like basil, thyme, or lavender for a unique twist.’]
