A creamy and tangy pickle dip made with cream cheese, perfect for easy entertaining and ready in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (150 g) dill pickles, finely chopped
  • ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried dill)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Soften the cream cheese by leaving it at room temperature for 10 minutes or microwaving for 15 seconds without melting.
  2. Finely chop the dill pickles and fresh dill.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until smooth and uniform.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Stir well to combine.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped pickles and fresh dill until evenly distributed.
  6. Cover and chill the dip in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let flavors meld.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream for best creaminess. Chill for at least 30 minutes for best flavor. Taste before adding salt as pickles can be salty. Chop pickles finely but not too finely to maintain texture. Serve with crunchy dippers like crackers, toasted bread, or fresh veggies. Avoid freezing as it changes texture.
