A quick and festive minty green Oreo bark perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, combining creamy white chocolate with crunchy Oreos and refreshing mint flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 15 to 20 Oreos, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 5 to 7 drops green food coloring (gel or liquid)
  • Optional garnish: green sprinkles, crushed peppermint candies, or edible gold glitter

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Roughly break 15 to 20 Oreos into bite-sized chunks and set aside.
  3. Place 12 ounces of white chocolate chips or wafers into a microwave-safe bowl.
  4. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and creamy (about 1.5 to 2 minutes).
  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon of mint extract gently into the melted chocolate.
  6. Add 5 to 7 drops of green food coloring and mix until the desired green color is reached.
  7. Fold the chopped Oreos into the green mint white chocolate, ensuring even distribution without overmixing.
  8. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread evenly to a thickness of 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
  9. Sprinkle optional garnishes on top while the chocolate is still soft.
  10. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or in the freezer for 15-20 minutes until firm.
  11. Remove from fridge and break into irregular chunks or cut into squares.
  12. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for longer storage.

Notes

Use short microwave bursts and stir often to avoid burning white chocolate. For dairy-free, use vegan white chocolate and check Oreo compatibility. Adjust mint extract to taste. Spread bark quickly before chocolate sets. Store in airtight container and bring to room temperature before serving for best texture.
