  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crispy and chopped
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 1 tbsp homemade blend)
  • 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ cup (120 ml) sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop into small pieces.
  3. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season lightly with salt and pepper. Place them in an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until smooth.
  5. Spread the creamy sauce evenly over the chicken breasts in the baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the cooked bacon evenly over the sauce layer.
  7. Top with the remaining ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
