  • 2 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
  • 6 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large loaf French bread, sliced open horizontally
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Fry the bacon until crispy, then let it cool and crumble into small pieces.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, and shredded cheese. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Slice the French bread horizontally, creating two halves. Hollow out the inside of the bread to make room for the filling.
  5. Evenly spread the chicken-bacon-ranch mixture inside the hollowed-out bread halves.
  6. Mix the melted butter with garlic powder and brush it over the top of the bread for added flavor.
  7. Cover the bread loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the bread is golden brown.
  8. Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing into thick pieces. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
