  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: sprinkle of dried thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard (if using), garlic powder, paprika, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional dried herbs.
  3. Slice the chicken breasts into evenly sized strips about 1 inch wide.
  4. Add the chicken strips to the marinade and toss thoroughly to coat each piece.
  5. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  6. Arrange the chicken strips in a single layer on the baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes until edges start to turn golden.
  8. Flip the strips over using tongs or a fork and bake for another 8-10 minutes until cooked through and nicely browned. Internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).
