A visually stunning and easy-to-assemble champagne and chocolate board perfect for celebrating friendship with a mix of sweet, crunchy, and bubbly delights.

Ingredients

  • Champagne or sparkling wine (dry brut recommended)
  • Dark chocolate bars or chunks (70% cacao or higher)
  • Milk chocolate pieces
  • White chocolate shards or buttons
  • Fresh berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • Candied pecans or smoked almonds
  • Soft Brie or triple cream cheese (optional)
  • Crackers and breadsticks (lightly salted or herb-infused)
  • Honey or fruit jam (e.g., raspberry jam)
  • Edible flowers or fresh herbs (e.g., fresh mint leaves, edible violets)

Instructions

  1. Chill your bottle of champagne or sparkling wine in the fridge for at least 2 hours before assembling the board.
  2. Break dark, milk, and white chocolates into bite-sized chunks or shards, varying shapes and sizes for display (about 10 minutes).
  3. Rinse fresh strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries gently under cold water and pat dry thoroughly.
  4. If using cheese, slice into wedges or cubes. Place candied nuts in a small bowl or scatter around the board (about 5 minutes).
  5. Arrange crackers and breadsticks on one side of the board, fanning them out neatly.
  6. Fill small bowls or ramekins with honey or jam and place them strategically on the board.
  7. Scatter edible flowers or fresh herbs around the board for color and aroma.
  8. Fill gaps with berries and chocolate pieces, balancing colors and textures without overcrowding.
  9. Serve immediately by pouring chilled champagne into flutes and presenting the board to guests.

Notes

Chill champagne well before serving. Dry berries thoroughly to prevent soggy crackers and melting chocolate. Assemble board close to serving time to keep ingredients fresh. For vegan option, use dairy-free chocolates, plant-based cheese alternatives, and swap honey for agave or maple syrup.
