A quick and easy snack featuring mini sausages wrapped in crescent roll dough coated with everything bagel seasoning for a crispy, flavorful crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package crescent roll dough (about 8 oz or 226 g)
  • 24 mini cocktail sausages (about 12 oz or 340 g), beef, pork, or chicken
  • 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning (sesame seeds, poppy seeds, dried garlic, dried onion, salt)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: Dijon mustard for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  2. Unroll the crescent dough onto a clean surface. Press the perforations together to form one sheet. Cut the dough into 24 small rectangles, roughly 2×3 inches (5×7.5 cm) each.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the melted unsalted butter with the everything bagel seasoning. Stir well.
  4. Brush each dough rectangle lightly with the seasoned butter on one side.
  5. Place a mini sausage on the edge of each dough piece. Roll the dough tightly around the sausage, sealing the edges gently by pinching the dough. Arrange the wrapped sausages seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops of the wrapped pigs in a blanket with the remaining seasoned butter.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Brush dough generously with seasoned butter for the signature crispy crust. Seal dough edges firmly to prevent sausages from popping out. Use fresh everything bagel seasoning for best flavor. Avoid overcrowding the baking sheet to ensure even crispiness. Dough can be chilled for 10 minutes if sticky. Leftovers store well in the fridge for up to 3 days and can be frozen unbaked for up to 1 month.
