Ingredients

Scale
  • 12-count Hawaiian rolls, split horizontally
  • 8 ounces deli turkey, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces deli ham, thinly sliced
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisp and chopped
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese (or provolone as alternative)
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted (unsalted preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • Black pepper, freshly ground, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally into top and bottom halves, keeping them together as a slab.
  3. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Drain on paper towels and chop into bite-sized pieces.
  4. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  5. Layer evenly with deli turkey, then ham, followed by the chopped bacon.
  6. Add Swiss cheese slices over the meats, then cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls back over the stacked ingredients and press gently.
  8. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  9. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the top of the rolls.
  10. Sprinkle poppy seeds evenly over the buttered tops.
  11. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil.
  12. Bake for 15 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5-7 minutes to crisp the tops.
  13. Remove from oven and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  14. Slice the slab into 12 individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

Use a serrated knife to slice the rolls to avoid squishing. Cook bacon crisp for best texture. Rest sliders after baking to make slicing easier. For dairy-free, use vegan cheese and olive oil instead of butter. For gluten-free, use gluten-free slider buns.
