  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 45 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Set aside.
  3. In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Lower the heat and whisk in 1 cup of heavy cream. Gradually stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Pour a thin layer of the sauce into a 9×13-inch baking dish. Place the chicken breasts on top, then pour the remaining sauce evenly over the chicken.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle breadcrumbs mixed with extra Parmesan over the top for a crunchy crust.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the top is golden and bubbly.
  8. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
