This creamy, spicy, tangy Buffalo chicken dip is the ultimate game-day snack. Made with cream cheese, chicken, hot sauce, ranch, and blue cheese, it’s quick, easy, and utterly addictive.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded or diced
  • ½ cup Buffalo wing sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • ½ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Celery sticks, carrot sticks, tortilla chips, or crostini for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature; if cold, microwave for 15-20 seconds until soft.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with a hand mixer on medium speed for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Add Buffalo wing sauce, ranch dressing, and blue cheese dressing. Mix until well combined.
  4. Fold in shredded chicken, ½ cup shredded cheddar, and all shredded mozzarella using a spatula until evenly distributed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×9-inch baking dish or small oven-safe skillet. Spread evenly.
  6. Top with remaining ½ cup shredded cheddar and crumbled blue cheese.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden on top.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  9. Garnish with sliced green onions and extra blue cheese crumbles if desired. Serve immediately with dippers.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and freshly grated cheese. The dip can be made a day ahead and refrigerated; add 10 minutes to bake time if cooking from cold. Adjust Buffalo sauce to taste for spice level.
