A creamy, bacon-loaded, and utterly addictive ranch dip perfect for parties, game days, or casual get-togethers. Easy to make with pantry staples and guaranteed to disappear fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) sour cream, full-fat
  • 1 oz (28g) ranch seasoning packet
  • 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup (110g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until golden and crunchy, about 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth and creamy using a hand mixer or spoon.
  3. Stir in the ranch seasoning packet and shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Fold in chopped bacon, reserving some bacon bits for topping.
  5. Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 inch baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle reserved bacon bits and green onions on top.
  6. Bake in a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven for 20 minutes or until hot, bubbly, and slightly golden on top.

Notes

Use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream for best creamy texture. Cook bacon slowly on medium heat to avoid burning. Do not overbake; bake just until bubbly to prevent greasiness. Reserve some bacon for topping to add crispy texture. Can be reheated in oven at 325°F with foil cover for about 10 minutes. Not recommended to freeze.
